The Escorts were the ninth most popular group in Liverpool in 1963 according to the 'Merseybeat' poll, and were featured in the BBC TV documentary 'The Sound of a City'.

'Dizzy Miss Lizzy'sold fairly well,  but no Escorts' singles made the Top Thirty, even when they switched to Columbia and Paul McCartney produced them.

Terry Sylvester left to join the Swinging Blue Jeans, and went furthewr to the Hollies.
